Creed III was released this past weekend starring Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors. The film exceeded the franchise expectations earning a copious 58.6 million. Rotten Tomatoes lists the film with a 96% audience score and the feedback from moviegoers has been trending on all social media platforms since the film's release. But do you know what makes a film even better? When there's a fire soundtrack to match. The 18-track, Dreamville-produced album, is a great compliment to the movie plot. The Creed III soundtrack features music from artists such as JID, Tierra Whack, Ari Lennox, Buddy, and other dope artists worth streaming. I enjoy tracks such as 'Blood, Sweat, and Tears'; I noticed the afro beats' influence instantly. 'Jack' has appearances by Earthgang, Buddy, & Ant Clemons, and is a fun song. On 'In the Room' JID, Tierra Whack, and BJ The Chicago Kid are droppin' heavy bars. It's always a pleasure to hear Ari Lennox bless us on a track as she did with 'Talk to me' with Omen and OG Dayv in an expressive long song. A personal preference is "Lay Up' by Syd and Sir, a song for lovers infatuated and in love. J-Cole did the soundtrack justice by displaying quality artists matching the energy of the performers in the film.
Congratulations to both Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors on the stellar execution of their roles and the success of the film.
