New Releases is a TNW segment highlighting the new music released weekly/bi-weekly by artists of various genres. Hot new music is distributed faster than reviewed. I need time to let the artist's music marinate and provide honest feedback. However, I do not want their music to go unnoticed. I've listed an array of newly released music; artists are not in ranking order per category. Tune in as I present to some and introduce to others.
Beyonce' is leading in music buzz, breaking multiple records in streaming and Country music. The entire 'Cow Boy Carter' album is a masterpiece, and I'd like to thank her for the Texas Hold'em (Pony Up) Remix, which has a New Orleans Bounce sprinkled in because I don't have a fancy line dance, but I do alright with the N.O. bounce. Future and Metro Boomin released 'Like That,' and let's be honest, that is Kendrick's song. He went in on his verse; K-Dot said aww, that's cute; you mad? Then Metro goes to Church towards the end of the Rodney O sample; the song featuring additional snippets from 'Eazy-Duz-It' and 'Pop Bottles' by Birdman & Lil Wayne is an instant REPLAY! Glorilla and Meg gave us a throwback bop over Soulja Boy's 'Pretty Boy Swag' with Glorilla's single 'Wannabe'. I enjoy the rap girlies and can always rely on them to give me something fun to dance to. Arya Starr is new to my headphones, but I like what I hear and will be tuning in for more of what she has in store. Gospel music is one thing about Black Church culture that I will always have an affinity for. Cory Henry released his album 'Church' which has 23 tracks of praise and worship for those looking to add to their Gospel collection.
